Terms and conditions

By reserving, booking, or renting a vehicle from Running Late Rentals, the renter agrees to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions and all applicable company policies.

• Rental charges are based on the total number of days reserved.
• The rental period begins at the scheduled pickup date and time and ends at the scheduled return date and time.
• Rentals are charged at the time of reservation.

• Full payment is required prior to vehicle pickup.
• Vehicles will not be released without payment confirmation.
• No security deposit is required.
• Running Late Rentals reserves the right to charge the card on file for:
  
  • Vehicle damage
  • Excessive cleaning
  • Fuel replacement
  • Late return fees
  • Tolls, parking tickets, or traffic violations
  • Administrative or recovery fees

• Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited in all vehicles, including cigarettes, cigars, vaping devices, marijuana, or similar substances.
• A non-refundable $250 smoking fee will be charged if evidence of smoking is found.
• Additional damage caused by smoking will be charged separately.

• Vehicles must be picked up and returned at the scheduled date and time.
• Early returns do not qualify for refunds.
• Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as received, excluding normal wear and tear.

• A grace period of up to 30 minutes may be provided at the company’s discretion.
• Returns exceeding the grace period may result in:
  
  • A $50 hourly late fee, or
  • An additional full-day rental charge
• Excessive lateness or failure to return the vehicle may result in repossession, additional fees, or legal action.

• Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel.
• Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level.
• If returned with less fuel, the renter will be charged:
  
  • $5 per gallon plus the cost of fuel
• Fuel charges may be applied to the card on file.

• The renter is responsible for all damage occurring during the rental period.
• Excessive dirt, spills, odors, pet hair, stains, or biohazards may result in cleaning fees.
• The renter is responsible for repair costs and loss of use while the vehicle is out of service.
• Damage and cleaning fees may be charged to the card on file.

• Renters must be at least 25 years old.
• A valid driver’s license is required at pickup.
• Only drivers approved and listed on the rental agreement may operate the vehicle.

Vehicles may not be used for:

• Illegal activities
• Racing or reckless driving
• Off-road use
• Towing
• Transporting hazardous or illegal materials

Violation may result in immediate termination of the rental without refund.

• The renter assumes full responsibility for the vehicle during the rental period.
• Running Late Rentals does not provide insurance coverage.
• The renter is responsible for maintaining valid insurance coverage.
• In the event of an accident or insurance-related incident, a $500 deductible will be charged to the renter.
• Accidents must be reported immediately to Running Late Rentals and the appropriate authorities.
• Running Late Rentals is not responsible for personal items left in the vehicle.

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to scheduled pickup.
• No-shows are non-refundable and may result in suspension from future rentals.
• Refunds are issued only in accordance with this cancellation policy.

Running Late Rentals reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or terminate rentals at its discretion for safety concerns, policy violations, or non-compliance.

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
